Every year students in elementary, middle and high schools across the country complete thousands of projects assigned by their teachers covering an unlimited amount of topics. It is my guess, that the vast majority of these projects contain some type of copyrighted material and that most of the projects are in violation of current US copyright laws. How do we as teachers educate our students on the appropriate uses of multimedia in student projects? I know for me the first step is to educate myself and I plan to share that information will all of you through this blog.
